The American roulette with 1 zero (or the European version) is referred to as English Roulette to distinguish it from the double-zero American Roulette and to emphasize that it has one zero only (as utilized within the UK).

* American Roulette can have a single zero or a double zero, but the manner it’s played is the exact same for both, and play is faster than French Roulette.
